Yet they are small enough and designed to be temporary movable structures, and they can usually be considered a “shed” by local building regulations and not require permits. (Please check with your local planning department to be certain for your location.) They need to be placed on a deck with good drainage or gravel pad and don’t require a foundation.

Assembly takes less than 1 day with 3 people

Set it up on gravel, wood, concrete, or stone
Total time from order to delivery: 12-14 weeks. We build your custom room when you order.
IMPORTANT: The sauna must be placed on a dry, well-drained surface to prevent wood rot.
Place your sauna on one of the following:
2” gravel pad
Wooden deck
Concrete pad with good drainage
On flat 2×4s to lift from dampness
Cinder block footingas
Note: Never place the sauna directly on grass, dirt, or any moist ground. A lightweight wooden lattce barrier is provided to elevate the room off the ground half an inch, but if you expeirnce heavy rains, consider putting 2x4 planks or concrete footings beneath the room to ensure the floor wood isn’t sitting in water for extended periods.
For assembly, you will need 3 people to lift and place the window wall. Other sections can be handled by 2 people. See assembly instructions overview to see click together system. Custom assembly instructions will be sent to your email for your specific outdoor room. Many clients hire local handymen to assemble in a day.
